Now in his fourth decade of involvement in the music business (mainly on the concert touring side) Jake Duncan has had the pleasure of working with some great and gifted entertainers. However - and this is no secret (even to the guys in Westlife) - in an ideal world he would have a full time involvement in the football division of his company, ShowTime International Ltd. As you will see from Jake's Life, Jake has been associated with a diverse array of artistes and, while still wholly committed to his present involvement with Franz Ferdinand, he would welcome the opportunity to transpose his man-management skills and experience to the field of professional football. You may note that our corporate identity features the Wham! Logo from the early eighties (Jake's involvement with George Michael spanned almost nine years) and personifies the ever-increasing close links between the marketing of sport and mainstream entertainment. Many a footballer would love to be a rock star – and vice versa. One day, in the not too distant future, we hope to be in a position to give the footballing industry a long overdue wake-up call as to the care, management and career development of the football prodigies of tomorrow.
